Watch: Tina Fey & Amy Poehler in First Funny Golden Globes Promo

January 4, 2013

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler

"It's a very, kind of, sloppy, loud party." Even though we just hit 2013, it's still the awards season. In fact, the nominations for the Academy Awards arrive in just under a week on January 10th. Meanwhile, the nominations for the 70th Annual Golden Globes have already been revealed, and we'll find out who the winners are live on the air on January 13th when funny ladies Tina Fey and Amy Poehler host the telecast on NBC. And with the show just over a week away, the first promo featuring the two comedians has arrived where they talk about why they decided to host, and also how they've been preparing for the show.

First promo for the 70th Annual Golden Globes hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler (via ComingSoon):

Fey and Poehler should make for a great hosting duo that will bring in audiences young and old. In addition, the two comediennes have been friends since their days of doing improv comedy in Chicago with the Second City troupe, where many "Saturday Night Live" alums got their start as well. This promo alone is evidence of their chemistry and what they'll bring to the stage. Plus, I'm really hoping that one of the Best Picture categories really does go to Tina Fey as she wishes in the video. The 70th Annual Golden Globes air live January 13th at 8pm EST/5pm PST on NBC, and we'll be posting the winners as they're announced live.

She needs to show a lot more. She keeps holding her tummy though ... perhaps she needs to lose ...

Tina Fey looks amazing. A dress that actually looks good and fits.
