The Internship

"Sometimes the long shots pay off the biggest…" As part of a promotion with Google+ (how coincidental!), 20th Century Fox has debuted the first trailer for their summer comedy The Internship, starring Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson as two "old" guys laid off who have to get an internship at… well, Google. Yea, the movie takes place at Google as they work there in a lowly internship job, with lots of other comedians playing higher up team members, including Aasif Mandvi, Josh Gad, B.J. Novak and Max Minghella. This looks quite funny, nowhere near the levels of Wedding Crashers brilliant, but entertaining. Have fun!

Watch the first official trailer for Shawn Levy's The Internship, straight from Google+ on YouTube:

Vince Vaughn & Owen Wilson play two old school salesmen who, finding themselves suddenly unemployed and passed-by in the digital world, try to reinvent themselves by becoming interns at a major tech company.

The Internship is directed by comedy/family filmmaker Shawn Levy, of Cheaper by the Dozen, The Pink Panther, Date Night, all two Night at the Museum movies so far, and Real Steel previously. The screenplay was co-written by actor Vince Vaughn and Jared Stern (of Mr. Popper's Penguins and The Watch). 20th Century Fox is opening The Internship in theaters everywhere starting June 7th this summer. You down?

Last gag kinda ruined it...don't know why they wouldn't know who Prof. X is. Other than that it looks okay.Vaughn has been very lazy recently and Wilson...well Wilson is doing what Wilson does best...playing Wilson.

Looks lame. Why Google even allowed them on their premises I don't know.

I had high hopes for these 2 guys. But the trailer looks really lame. Swingers/Made/Wedding Crashers. Waiting for more greatness from VV.

Looks lame. Rental at best. When movies like Argo or The Avengers come to theaters and you only have to pay $8, it really makes you feel like you shouldn't have to pay the same amount for something as bland and lifeless as this.

Wish Vaughn would leave comedy alone. He's never been funny. Even if he was though, this film is just a train-wreck. Actually, I just read the line where it says he co-wrote this. Yeah, that explains soooo much.

We're talking about a comedy here, and this one looks pretty darn funny, I love when Vaughn and Wilson work together.

...that is the point. He isn't Xavier, he is Ben Kingsley. Xavier is some hipster douche.
