Watch: Wacky Trailer for Experimental Danish Sci-Fi Project 'Exodus'

"There is one enemy weapons cannot defeat…" Whoa. This looks… kind of crazy awesome! Our friends at Twitch have found a trailer for a Danish sci-fi film called Exodus, being developed as a multi-media cross-platform project, with a feature film as the main selling point. And this is their trailer. It could described as the look of the original Tron meets Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow meets Dune meets Beyond Thunderdome, in a weird way. It gets really wacky with the Exodus stuff at the end. But there's something completely alluring about it, that old school 80's-done-perfect feeling, I really want to see this. Check it out!
Watch the first test trailer for Tommy Ipsen's sci-fi project Exodus, embedded directly from their Vimeo:
From the production intro (via TSOMM Pictures): "As the old world died, a fleet of ships set sail towards the stars. Only one single vessel reached the other side, and on the remains of their lost civilization the last of humanity built a new home. But the fight for survival had only just begun." Exodus is a story about two brothers set in a distant future, on an even more distant planet. The film is directed by Tommy Ipsen, from a screenplay by Christoffer Örnfeldt, produced by Richard Georg Engström. It's apparently a "proposed sci-fi fantasy project for multi media platforms (film, tv series, games, novels) currently wrapping a feature film pilot to present at the Berlin Film Festival 2013." I really do want to see this finished. Here's their Facebook.

Sorry Alex, but you lost me at wacky. Not a word that I want to see within light years of a sci fi movie.

Not a fan of the filters or bad greenscreen. Or the iffy acting. Or the overly portentous trailer.

Bearded guy is Kristofer Hivju, seen in The Thing(2011) and soon to be seen in all episodes of GoT S3. And yeah, this trailer/movie doesn't look good.

Kind of crazy awesome? I think you should think about your unprofessional and misguided wording more often...Or at least admit your taste is bottom shelf...This looks wretched, and doesn't seem to be what you described in the least...Pay attention.

This looks like somebody's home videos in after effects that they decided to "share" with everyone on youtube.

Uh, I was waiting to be AM-AZED,,, but I don't know what I just saw. What was so special about this again? Is Sylar from Heroes in this movie? I saw a brain or two exposed...
