"Out here they come back harder to kill." Now what is this? Back before Wesley Snipes got in trouble and went to prison, he shot a zombie western called Gallowwalkers. It drifted around, collecting dust for years after director Andrew Goth finished it, and recently reared its ugly heading, selling at the Berlin Film Festival earlier this month. Our friends at Bloody-Disgusting got their hands on the trailer and it's pretty much a must watch based on the concept - Snipes as a cursed gunman in the old west, the people he kills come back to life as undead zombies. Tanit Phoenix, Riley Smith, Kevin Howarth and Patrick Bergin co-star.
Watch the first promo trailer for Andrew Goth's Gallowwalkers, originally from Bloody-Disgusting:
A mysterious gunman is the son of a nun who breaks her covenant with God to ensure his survival. This act brings a curse upon Aman – all those that die by his gun will return. He's soon hunted by a gang of his undead former victims, led by the vicious Kansa. He enlists Fabulos, a young warrior, to fight by his side.
Gallowwalkers is directed by indie filmmaker Andrew Goth, of the films B.U.S.T.E.D and Cold & Dark previously. The script was written by Goth and Joanne Reay. This was shot back in 2006, finished by 2010, fully premiered at the Film4 FrightFest in 2012 last year, and is being released by Wrekin Hill Ent. in the US this year sometime. We'll keep an eye out for release plans, if it hits theaters at all. Anyone want to see this?

Hahaha! Holy shit, yes please! Probably straight-to-dvd, but whatever. I'll definitely be looking for this. I'm wondering if it was finally taken off shelves because of Django Unchained.

Snipes and Cage need to do a film together. Say what you will about the IRS, but they cause some of the best movies to happen. Haha.

Two qualities that make for wonderfully rediculous films.
