In just over a week, fans will be clamoring to see Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. Fans who are really eager to see the film can see it in six days if they purchase Fandango's special Superticket for the sequel. But in the meantime, we have another piece of promotion for the comedy, and it doesn't spoil any of the jokes from the film. Funny or Die gathered up Wolf Blitzer, Anderson Cooper and Chris Cuomo from the real news world to discuss their experience and perception of Ron Burgundy. Supposedly he's a "bit of an asshole" and even had a mustache rivalry with a young Wolf Blitzer back in the day. Watch below!

Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues is written and directed by Adam McKay, the man behind the original 2004 comedy Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy and comedies like Step Brothers. With the 70's behind him, San Diego's top rated newsman, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), returns to the news desk. Also back are Ron’s co-anchor and wife, Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), weather man Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), man on the street Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) and sports guy Champ Kind (David Koechner) - All of whom won’t make it easy to stay classy…while taking New York's first 24-hour news channel by storm. Paramount Pictures brings the sequel to theaters this winter on December 20th, 2013.

These videos making Ron out to be a real person just aren't that funny. It's amusing that they get these people to do them but they haven't made me actually laugh

Agreed. The hype is not going to live up to the film I don't think. If the film were that strong, it would not need the promotion and cross promotion it has been getting.

Anyone else ever see Cooper and Lisa Ling on Channel One News, playing in class before school started? This was probably 15-20 years ago.
