After taking to the small screen and showing off her assets in HBO's "True Detective," the lovely Alexandra Daddario is making a leap to a hopeful tentpole. Deadline has word that the co-star of the Percy Jackson fantasy franchise has taken the female lead alongside Dwayne Johnson in San Andreas, the disaster thriller from Journey 2: The Mysterious Island director Brad Peyton. In the film, Johnson plays a rugged rescue helicopter pilot going across the state to save his estranged daughter after a massive earthquake strikes Califorina. It's a pretty straight forward story focusing on absolute destruction and chaos. Read on!
Allan Loeb (Wall Street 2) was hired to polish the original script by Andre Fabrizio and Jeremy Passmore in 2012, but Chad and Carey Hayes (The Conjuring, The Reaping) wrote the most recent draft. Daddario is gaining more attention as of late with her supporting work on the HBO drama series starring Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey, and she's in the running for a role in the Entourage movie a well. Is she on the way to becoming a prominent leading lady? Time will well, but she's certainly a rising star.

I was like a 10 year old in that scene with Harrelson.

She certainly did show off her assets, and I showed off my ability to pause, rewind, pause, play, rewind, pause my DV-R.

I certainly hope that isn't the only one we get from her. As in I hope she doesn't turn down meatier roles because they require nudity.

San Andreas sounds like a pretty entertaining movie. And yeah, Daddario is quite a beauty, as we all know.
