"I'm the Wolverine." We're just a little over a couple weeks away from seeing the time travel mash-up of two different X-Men franchises comes to life in X-Men: Days of Future Past. We're trying to keep our hype in check, if only because The Amazing Spider-Man 2 turned out to be a letdown on a number of levels despite the greatness of the cast. In this case, the cast is so massive that it would be a travesty if the film wasn't a home run, but we'll find out soon enough. A new TV spot has just showed up with some more cool action shots, including Wolverine taking on a Sentinel. But that little joke bit at the end feels forced. Watch!
Here's the new TV spot for X-Men: Days of Future Past from the X-Men YouTube channel:
X-Men: Days of Future Past is directed by Bryan Singer and written by Matthew Vaughn and Simon Kinberg. The sequel features cast members from the original X-Men franchise like Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore and Daniel Cudmore along with X-Men: First Class cast members like James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, and Michael Fassbender. The present day X-Men are in danger from a mistake in the past, and Wolverine is sent back in time to fix it in order to avoid a dark, terrifying future timeline. Fox will release Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past everywhere starting on May 23rd this summer. We can't wait. How does this one look?

Makes one wonder how Fox could get rights to "Kashmir" for this film, yet Marvel hasn't managed to use the blatantly Nordic tune "Immigrant Song" for its Thor films, to date. Maybe Zeppelin ' s easing up on their rights use, & we can hold out hope for Thor 3 ' s credits (along the lines of Iron Man ending w Sabbath ' s iconic track).

So how is Wolvie supposed to cut up the Sentinels with those long toothpicks?

Does Wolverine's claw still make that metallic sound when he cuts even though his claws are bone? For reference, please watch trailer again and listen to sound at .31 seconds. Anyway... I'd expect to sound significantly different. If not, then that's some lazy editing by the movie producers.

Hope Logan gets his Metal claws back fairly quickly in this film, I mean we finally get sentinels but wolverine is stuck with bone claws? There has to be a scene where he gets his claws laced with adamantium again (maybe from magneto somehow) and then rips apart a sentinel directly after. I would love that...just sayin lol.

the radical difference in the size of his bone claws and adamantium claws always cracked me up. perfect, katana like blades and giant, gnarly lumps of bone.
