Tao Okamoto / Holly Hunter

With the larger roles cast in the developing Warner Bros. sequel to Man of Steel, which may or may not be called Batman vs. Superman still, the supporting cast is starting to fill up. Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck are in the hero roles of Superman and Batman, and Fast & Furious franchise star Gal Gadot is taking the role of Wonder Woman. The most recent casting additions were Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons as mentor/butler Alfred. Now Deadline reports Holly Hunter (The Incredibles, Broadcast News), Tao Okamoto (The Wolverine) and Callan Mulvey (300: Rise of an Empire) have also joined. Read on!

We're not sure what roles Hunter and Okamoto are taking at this point, but they join returning Man of Steel cast members Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane in the sequel. This cast is getting pretty big. As for Mulvey, back when Gal Gadot was hired as Wonder Woman, there was news that the 300: Rise of an Empire star was being eyed for a villain role, but not the primary antagonist, which seems to be Lex Luthor now. The film doesn't start shooting until later this year, so hopefully we find out some plot details before long. Batman vs Superman arrives on May 6th, 2016, and will be facing Captain America 3. Thoughts?

Callan has the minerals to play a badass villain (if he does play a villain). This whole back and forth going on between CA3 and BvS is just dumb. Neither one should affect the other when it comes to money. They are their own entity and they are just two badass movies that are coming out around the same time. And its not like they've both chosen the same day, and even by some stupid reason they should, i'll still make the effort to see both on the same day as im sure most will do.

Okamoto could make a great Cheshire...but I doubt they will go into the more arcane villains/heroes arena.
