Daniel Radcliffe and Dane DeHaan

After teaming up last year for the Sundance selected drama Kill Your Darlings, young actors Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and Dane DeHaan (Chronicle) are looking to reunite in two drastically different roles. After playing Allen Ginsberg and Lucien Carr respectively, Radcliffe and DeHaan are in talks to play Lee Atwater and Karl Rove in College Republicans, a film that once had Paul Dano and Shia LaBeouf involved with Richard Linklater directing. Now The Wrap reports it will be Radcliffe and DeHaan's Kill Your Darlings director John Krokidas at the helm of the film which topped the Black List in 2010. Read on!

The script comes from Wes Jones and took the top spot on the Black List amidst Oscar contenders like Argo, American Hustle and Margin Call. With flares of The Social Network, the film would follow a young Karl Rove (former White House Deputy Chief of Staff) as he vies for the position of chief campus conservative under the guidance of one Lee Atwater (the late, former Chairman of the Republican National Committee) as his campaign manager. The trade says the film could "could serve as a quasi-origin story for the modern political campaign and the byzantine strategies that are often employed today." Sounds fairly interesting, especially if this cast actually comes together.

Cool, two very good actors. I hope Dane will be in Star Wars.
