Daniel Radcliffe

Though The Boy Who Lived may not be appearing in the Harry Potter franchise spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (since it's set 70 years before the events of The Sorcerer's Stone), that's not stopping Daniel Radcliffe from doing magic again. HeyUGuys in the United Kingdom has learned that Michael Caine made a surprising casting revelation for the forthcoming Now You See Me 2 during an interview at the Royal Albert Hall, saying that the star of the Harry Potter franchise had landed a role in the sequel to the magician heist film from 2013. In fact, Radcliffe is playing Caine's son in the film. Read on!

Caine didn't divulge any plot details, but here's what he said:

“There’s a sequel to Now You See Me and we’re shooting in London. I shoot in December, the whole of December in London, and my son is Harry Potter. I thought it’d be funny, me and Daniel Radcliffe as father and son.”

Now the question is how his son comes into play. Frankly, we're surprised Michael Caine is back in the sequel to begin with since he seemed to be dispatched with rather ceremoniously in the first film, but more than likely, he's out to get revenge on the Four Horseman for taking his money. Will Daniel Radcliffe somehow be involved with a plan for revenge? Could he end up being the guy working with the Four Horseman the whole time like Mark Ruffalo was in the first film? We don't know, but we're very interested in seeing what Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, Woody Harrelson and Jesse Eisenberg are up to this time.

he's made such interesting choices since HP plus Now You see me was a great movie. Sequels sounds good so far.

NYSM was surprising to me. I didn't expect it to be as good as it was.

Never really liked his acting. It never really seemed good to me.

Horns seems to be a step above. Dat accent.

I will give it a look.

I've said this before and I'll say it again... I wanted the sequel to be titled "Now You Don't" This is, of course, if they're only making two films.
