Denzel Washington Out for Justice in First TV Spot for 'The Equalizer'

"There comes a point where you have to help people who can't help themselves." Denzel Washington is back protecting the good people again as The Equalizer, but it doesn't seem to be something he's excited about in this extended TV spot for the action thriller from director Antoine Fuqua. It looks like we're going to get a good threatening monologue from Washington at some point, and that's always great. Plus, if you look carefully, I'm pretty sure Washington smashes a shot glass into someone's eye socket in this TV spot. We also get our first glimpse at Bill Pullman in the movie, and I completely forgot he even had a role.
Here's the new TV spot for Antoine Fuqua's The Equalizer from Eminem's YouTube page:
The Equalizer is directed by Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, Shooter, Olympus Has Fallen) and written by Richard Wenk (The Expendables 3, The Mechanic). Denzel Washington plays McCall, a former black ops commando who has faked his death to live a quiet life in Boston. When he comes out of his self-imposed retirement to rescue a young girl, Teri (Chloƫ Grace Moretz), he finds himself face to face with ultra-violent Russian gangsters. As he serves vengeance against those who brutalize the helpless, McCall's desire for justice is reawakened. If someone has a problem, the odds are stacked against them, and they have nowhere else to turn, McCall will help. He is The Equalizer. Columbia opens the film in theaters September 26th.
