Dermot Mulroney Joining Leigh Whannell's 'Insidious: Chapter 3'

Just last month, we learned that Saw and Insidious writer Leigh Whannell would step up to direct Insidious: Chapter 3 with James Wan taking a step back to only produce the horror sequel for Focus Features (they absorbed Film District) and Blumhouse Productions. Now we have our first official cast member on board, and it's not anyone we've seen in the franchise up until now. Whannell announced on Twitter that Dylan McDermott Dermot Mulroney will star in the film that is already slated to hit theaters on April 3rd, 2015. However, the story for this third film in the horror series is still under tight wraps, so that's all we have for now, with no indication of any returning cast members from the first two films yet.
