'Dumb & Dumber To' Trailer: Harry & Lloyd Have Wasted 20 Years

Following the debut of the latest poster, the first full length trailer for the comedy sequel that's been 20 years in the making has arrived. Dumb & Dumber To definitely lives up to the title with Harry (Jeff Daniels) and Lloyd (Jim Carrey) back and just as stupid as ever. While it's great to see these two back together, there's something that's a little bittersweet about this reunion because Carrey and Daniels have visibly aged 20 years, making the characters seem a little odd. This doesn't look like a complete disaster, but there's something that feels a bit off. Still, there's some good laughs in here, especially at the end. Watch it!

Dumb & Dumber To is directed by Peter & Bobby Farrelly (Dumb & Dumber, There's Something About Mary) and written by Sean Anders & John Morris (Sex Drive, She's Out of My League), Mike Cerrone (Me, Myself & Irene) and Bennett Yellin (Dumb & Dumber). Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels reprise their roles as Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne, 20 years after their last road trip, and this time they have to hit the road again to find Harry's illegitimate daughter for a kidney transplant. Laurie Holden and Kathleen Turner also star in the film which Universal Pictures will send to theaters everywhere November 14th, 2014. Well?

I tend to not be a big fan of comedies. Only a dozen or so ever really kept my attention. (The Informant, Step Brothers, and Anchorman are a few) That being said, I am a bit ashamed to say that I laughed throughout this whole trailer.

I never thought it needed a sequel, Harry and Lloyd get irritating pretty quickly. What we all wanted was for these two actors to work together again, preferably in a drama. Great chemistry and amazing talent.

When I was a kid, the original movie made me laugh every time I watched. I can probably still quote most of the lines. This trailer just made me sad and depressed.

Seeing how it's an R-rated movie, the red band trailer will probably be way better or perhaps they're being smart and leaving all the best jokes out of the trailer, which is a good move.

I didn't laugh once at this. I really like the first one, but at this point, I don't have much hope for the sequel. Maybe another trailer will help.

Fuck it...this looks great, a lot more brazen than D&D but dammit am I a sucker for the adorableness of Harry and Lloyd. I'm in. Carry and Daniels look great and comfortable with one another and its refreshing to see them again. It may bomb, it may suck, it may make people forever hate the Farrelly Bros. but I am willing to give them a chance.

The original is my all-time favorite comedy so there's no way this one can match it for me but that was good for some laughs. This is one for me that I know I will see even if it gets bad reviews. Just got to.
