Magic in the Moonlight

"The more I watch her, the more I'm stunned. Could she be real?" Earlier this week we saw Colin Firth get into action mode for Kingsman: The Secret Service, and now he's being charming again in the firs trailer for Woody Allen's latest film, Magic in the Moonlight. In the film set in the south of France in the 1920s, Firth is commissioned to help prove that a popular, pretty and charming fortune teller (Emma Stone) is really a fraud. Original and delightful are the first two words that come to mind after watching this trailer, and it looks like another home run for the director who shows no signs of slowing down. Watch it below!

Here's the first trailer for Woody Allen's Magic in the Moonlight, originally from Yahoo:

Magic in the Moonlight is written and directed by Woody Allen (Midnight in Paris, Blue Jasmine, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Annie Hall, Manhattan). The film follows an Englishman (Colin Firth) brought in to help unmask a possible swindle by a fortune teller (Emma Stone). Personal and professional complications ensue in the story that unfold in the south of France in the 1920s against a backdrop of wealthy mansions, the Côte d’Azur, jazz joints and fashionable spots for the wealthy of the Jazz Age. Marcia Gay Harden, Hamish Linklater, Jacki Weaver and more star in the film which Sony Pictures Classics releases July 25th.

And creepy

What's creepy about it? And don't say the age difference because that just shows ignorance on your part. Many classics feature couples with similar age differences- Sabrina, My Man Godfrey, Key Largo, etc.

Nice! Gorgeous cinematography, love the period setting and with a Woody Allen script what could go wrong? I love that they finally seem to realize that his films can appeal to a bigger audience, hopefully this one does good as well!
