The Avengers: Age of Ultron

"There's only one path to peace. Your extinction." If you're looking for a little bit more footage from The Avengers: Age of Ultron, you might want to check out this extended trailer for the Marvel Studios sequel that just surfaced online. It's mostly the same as the teaser trailer that debuted a couple weeks ago, but it features a new opening with more taunting from Ultron just before some of Tony Stark's remote controlled suits crash The Avengers party where they all try to lift Thor's hammer. There's also some new shots of Iron Manflying , and less of that creepy Pinocchio rendition if that makes things better for you. Watch below!

Here's the extended trailer for Joss Whedon's The Avengers: Age of Ultron from YouTube:

And here's an international behind the scenes featurette on the film from Facebook:

You can still watch the first teaser trailer for The Avengers: Age of Ultron right here.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron is written & directed by Joss Whedon (The Avengers, Serenity). Earth's mightiest heroes must once again assemble when a super intelligent robot created by Tony Stark created to help fight any threats that might harm the world actually turns against him and the human race. Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson all return in the sequel to Marvel's The Avengers with new names like Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen joining the team. Disney & Marvel release the film on May 1st, 2015. This extended trailer adds virtually nothing. The featurette is much more interesting.

I am, in fact, very intrigued by ballet dancers in the trailer... They are, so far and somehow, nicest ones in this trailers...

6

I agree.. and their function in the trailer.. creating a nice contrast to all the hard brutality. Clever for this kind of action orgie. 🙂

ErrorSapiens on Nov 13, 2014

7

There was absolutely no contrast, when the ballet dancers are on screen is when the most ominous note of the trailers score is played.

8

Disagree to disagree? 🙂 I saw the trailer as a whole, and in my opinion, they are in contrast. 🙂

ErrorSapiens on Nov 13, 2014

9

Does that mean we agree? haha

Jon Odishaw on Nov 13, 2014

10

Exactly 🙂

I think they should chill with the trailers. You don't wanna give away too much this early. Although the trailer is still awesome!

Good point seeing as the Avengers is such a plot driven movie. We wouldn't viewers who are expecting mindless, juvenile action to know that the Avengers 2 is full of mindless, juvenile action.

Wait, I'm confused VS - based on all your comments on previous pages, you seem to base your regard for a movie on review sites, like metacritic or rotten tomatoes, yet the Avengers, a movie which you you bad mouth has a universal rating on Metacritic and a 92% on Rotten, - are you sure you don;t like it just because you are an asshole?

I might be an asshole but at least I don't have the reading comprehension of a two year old. I never said I didn't like The Avengers...just like how I can enjoy the occasional Big Mac. The difference is that I don't go around acting like it's prime rib.

VodkaSauce on Nov 12, 2014

15

Lol, no - cause the only prime rib for you is your fantastic way of bashing peoples opinions with your correct one, right? 😀 You tell them whats what! High five, low brow.

Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. I want to see more of their characters.

Looks as mindless as the first one.

VodkaSauce on Nov 12, 2014

18

Oh shut up. Transformers is mindless. All of them. Every frame, every second of those 4 films made you dumber. Avengers is in a much different league.

LightningB on Nov 12, 2014

19

Yeah...Avengers made you smarter. Oh wait...no it didn't. It was a cinematic Happy Meal. It's cute though you think it was Filet Mignon. Avengers is your run of the mill action, FX schlock.

Dude, those master suppression techniques you are using to try to get on a personal level on a person speaking in clear opinion to you, with no mind games, are really obnoxious. But then again, you comment on this smells of troll and fish. Mindless indeed, only beaten by your comment on this new trailer. Produce some arguments and prove your wits.

ErrorSapiens on Nov 13, 2014

It might only be considered run of the mill because Marvel bought the mill. Yes its mindless action, but mixed with some clever dialogue and loveable characters.

Jon Odishaw on Nov 13, 2014

22

Well, damn. Even though I've just about had it with all these overbearing ass "superhero movies" I think I'm gonna have to check this out now.

This looks awesome. Would be cool if they could start building the world for SW and Quicksilver in Agents of Shield because that TV show is heading out the door soon by the looks of it.
