Franco & Rogen Join the CIA in New Red Band 'The Interview' Trailer

"I got some questions for that goat." At the beginning of the year, The Interview was one of my most anticipated films of 2014. But I'll admit to being more than underwhelmed when the teaser trailer debuted. It just didn't look that funny, and the trailer went for style over comedic substance. But all that changes, and this finally looks like a comedy to get excited about in a new three-minute red band trailer that lays out the story and all the raunchy humor you'd expect from Seth Rogen and James Franco. There seems to be tons of celebrity cameos just like This is The End too. Free your mind, and the rest will follow. Watch now!
Here's the new red band trailer for Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg's The Interview from Sony:
The Interview is written and directed by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg (of This is the End previously, and the co-writers of Superbad, The Green Hornet, Pineapple Express), with a story the duo wrote with "The Daily Show" scribe Dan Sterling. In the comedy, James Franco plays the handsome talk show host of "Skylark Tonight" who finds himself and his producer (Rogen) into a dangerous CIA organized plot to assassinate the leader of North Korea under the guise of a television interview. Columbia Pictures will be releasing Rogen & Goldberg's new comedy The Interview starting this holiday season on Christmas Day.

I didn't think the first teaser was that great but it still showed promise. This looks kinda like shit. And that's coming from a fan of everything these guys do.

Not one chuckle, but this isn't my thing. I'm sure it'll be a big success.

Will reserve judgment until I get to see it, but I don't know if they will even release it in South Korea. But this looks alright, not as good as the initial trailer.

I bet it would be a hit in South Korea, but they may not release it for "security" and political reasons. Was Team America released in S. Korea?

Franco looks way older. Weird.

I think this looks hilarious. I'm in! Weak ass title though. I would've gone for something a bit more Bond-esque or blatenty comidic. "The Interview" is kinda sleepy
