Full Trailer for 'The Best of Me' Gives You All the Love and the Movie
"I blame you for thinking you knew what was best for me when it was you who was best for me." Since the first trailer for the Nicholas Sparks adaptation The Best of Me only gave a tease of the time-spanning romance, the full trailer is here to give the whole movie away. From the young love of Liana Liberato and Luke Bracey (who looks far too old to be in high school) to the rekindled romance 20 years later between their older selves played by James Marsden and Michelle Monaghan. There's kissing in the rain, intense conversations about love lost, and all the Nicholas Sparks hits. It basically shows the whole movie.
Here's the full trailer for Michael Hoffman's The Best of Me from the film's YouTube channel:
The Best of Me is directed by Michael Hoffman (The Last Station, One Fine Day) and written by J. Millis Goodloe (Pride, The Age of Adaline), based on Nicholas Sparks' novel. Dawson and Amanda (James Marsden & Michelle Monaghan) are two former high school sweethearts reunited after 20 years apart when they return to their small town for the funeral of a beloved friend. Their bittersweet reunion reignites the love they've never forgotten, but soon they discover the forces that drove them apart twenty years ago live on, posing even more serious threats today. Relativity Media releases the film in theaters October 17th.
So generic. Will make all its money back in one weekend.

Is it just me, or does Luke Bracey look like a young Heath Ledger?

Lol the young characters look nothing like the older ones. Should have just cast a couple non white actors and actresses and the end result would have been the same.
