Funny or Die Reimagines 'Big' with Evan Rachel Wood in the Lead

You might be thinking to yourself that we've already seen a version of Big with a female in the lead, and it was called 13 Going on 30 with Jennifer Garner (a film that I genuinely love). However, Funny or Die wanted to go in a different direction with their female version of Big. This time it's Evan Rachel Wood in the lead, and while this faux trailer for the new version of the Tom Hanks classic hits the finer points of the original film, things take a darker turn when Wood's love interest ("Glee" star Darren Criss) realizes that he's actually been sleeping with a 13-year old girl this entire time, and it ruins his life completely. Watch!

Here's an alternate take on Big with Evan Rachel Wood from Funny or Die:

Honestly, this was always one of the weirder things to me about the ending of the original Big: the fact that Elizabeth Perkins strikes up a relationship with a 13-year old boy, and doesn't seem to have some kind of freak out and emotional breakdown when she realizes that Josh Baskin (Tom Hanks) was actually a teenage boy in a grown man's body. That's weird. In the movie, there's no confirmation that the two characters actually had sex, but they sure do a lot of making out and seem to act like they've been pretty intimate with each other. And in case you didn't know, there's a TV series adaptation of Big in the works too. Funny?
