For any movie fan, getting ahold of any props or wardrobes from your favorite films is about as good as it gets as car as collectibles are concerned. But they're not easy to come by, and the more iconic the film, the more expensive any of them will be. Programs like "Hollywood Treasure" have chronicled the efforts of auction houses getting ahold of the most iconic props, and now a cool infographic runs through the 33 most valuable movie props, as based upon what people were willing to pay for them through various auctions and websites like eBay. They range from the DeLorean time machine from Back to the Future or Luke Skywalker's (father's) lightsaber from the original Star Wars. But what's the most expensive? Look!
Here's the 33 Most Expensive Valuable Movie Props of All-Time (via Movies.com):
Considering how iconic Marilyn Monroe still is, and how people immediately picture her in that white dress, it's no surprise that piece of clothing the starlet actually wore during her short lifespan is the most expensive. Other pieces like the Golden Ticket from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and a proton pack from Ghostbusters aren't surprising, but it's impressive that the super soldier serum from Captain America: The Winter Soldier made the list considering it's only a few years old. That means there may be hope that you can get something else cool for much cheaper. What prop do you want?

Check your info people!!! This list loses all validity when you see it is missing the recent sale (late 2013) of one of the Maltese Falcon prop statues that sold for just over $4 Million! Just another list something threw together without checking facts very well. Cool list even if it is not very accurate since it is probably missing a lot of stuff.

Of course Monroe's dress would be the most valuable. I wonder how many times the winner smelled it? Over under on 100? HAHA...gross.
