The developing Steve Jobs biopic that moved from Sony Pictures to Universal Pictures is still trying to finalize a cast before going in front of cameras for director Danny Boyle. Michael Fassbender is playing Steve Jobs and Seth Rogen will be his right hand man Steve Wozniak, and now Deadline reports Inherent Vice star Katherine Waterston has landed a pivotal female role as Chrisann, the first wife of Steve Jobs. This isn't the same role that Natalie Portman passed on, but Kate Winslet has been mentioned to be in the running to take the role, though a deal hasn't been solidified. This is shaping up to be a great cast. Read on!
Winslet's role would be that of Joanna Hoffman, head of marketing for the Mac team. Previously said to be circling a role is screenwriter Aaron Sorkin's "The Newsroom" star Jeff Daniels as John Sculley was the CEO of Apple. In addition, Michael Stuhlbarg has taken the role of Andy Hertzfeld, the computer scientist and inventor who was part of the original Apple development team that came up with Macintosh Operating Syste. Other roles left to be filled are that of Steve Jobs daughter. Production is supposed to begin next year, but no release date has been set yet. Stay tuned for more updates.

Maximise profits, but dress it up all 'hippy'. Put up the suicide nets so workers can't kill themselves. Lolz. Jobs was an evil geniuszz
