Jakub Ignarski Delivers the Latest 'Cinematic Retrospective 2014'
by Ethan Anderton
December 26, 2014
Just under a week until 2014 is officially over, and to finish up the year in cinema, next week we'll be delivering multiple Top 10 Films of 2014 lists. But for now, we're still looking back at everything that the year offered on the big screen. Our latest look back at films of the year comes in the form of Cinematic Retrospective 2014 from Jakub Ignarksi. There seems to be a lot more foreign films represented here than we've seen previously, so you'll definitely want to check out the full list of films used to see what some of these featured movies are. The sound mix could be a little better for dialogue, but it's still fun. Watch!
Here's Jakub Ignarski's Cinematic Retrospective 2014 (via The Playlist):
Ignarski thinks that this year was better than 2013 when it comes to movies, listing Boyhood as his favorite up until the time this video was released . In addition, despite not being a Marvel fan, he thinks Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain America: The Winter Soldier were the best that the studio has delivered so far (and they're definitely up their in the ranking). If you want a whole list of the movies feature above, check out Ignarki's Tumblr with the titles and accompanying timecode. And if you want to know what music was used, be sure to check out the video's YouTube page with all the details on those tunes. Good one?

Way too much dialogue going on. Kees van Dijkhuizen does this thing much better.

Don't we hear this song on the radio enough?? Does it really need to be featured in the year's retrospective too?
