Joe Wright's 'Pan' Moves Away from Marvel's 'Ant-Man' by One Week

Briefly: After debuting the first trailer for Joe Wright's new take on a classic fantasy with Pan, it looks like Warner Bros. Studios has decided to give the adventure starring Hugh Jackman a better chance at the box office by opening on July 24th, 2015. This way it no longer has to go up against Marvel's forthcoming Ant-Man the previous weekend. While the comic book film may be the shakiest endeavor out of all of Marvel's big screen adaptations yet, it still has the comic book studio's bump to get butts in the seats that weekend. Now Pan will open up against Adam Sandler's video game action comedy Pixels, the remake of Poltergeist from Fox and Judd Apatow's comedy Trainwreck. Stay tuned for more updates down the road.

Ant-Man won't be shaky EA, because A: Marvel Marketing, and B: Kevin Feige. And I wanna see this too.
