After teaming up for both Ocean's 11 and Ocean's 12, superstars George Clooney and Julia Roberts are set to reunite with another acclaimed actor directing them this time. The Wrap has word that Roberts is currently in talks to join Money Monster, a financial thriller to be directed by Jodie Foster that already has George clooney attached. The project is set up at the revamped TriStar and follows Clooney as Lee Gates, a bombastic financial TV personality who offers up stock advice on his hit show “Money Monster.” The plot takes off when he ends up threatened by a desperate blue-collar worker on the edge. More below!
Jack O'Connell (Unbroken) is in talks to play the blue-collar man named Kyle Budwell, who feels like he's being exploited by Wall Street hotshots. His desperation is only heightened by the fact that he has a baby on the way and he decides to take Lee hostage live on the air in order to increase a certain stock's value and expose those crooks who are lying to the American public and his co-workers. As for Roberts, she's up for the role of Nancy Fenn, the director and executive producer of the fictional financial TV program, and she might also be a love interest as well. The script comes from Jamie Linden (10 Years, We Are Marshall), and with a cast like this, it sounds like a promising flick.

Very cool. I really think Foster has a bright future in directing film. She is a great actor too though. I wish she would do a few more films before bedding down.
