Kevin Smith Looks Almost Unrecognizable for Role in 'Yoga Hosers'

Even though Kevin Smith's peculiar horror film Tusk may have bombed hard at the box office (even though that some how helped him get financing for Clerks III), that's not stopping him from marching onward and making the films he had planned to follow in the new film series being called his True North Trilogy. As we learned in August, the next film is Yoga Hosers, and it will star Harley Quinn Smith and Lily-Rose Depp, the respective daughters of Smith and Johnny Depp. We knew the latter actor also had a role in the film, and now Smith has revealed he'll be on screen this time, but with a big change. Look!
Kevin Smith took to Twitter last night to reveal his new look for Yoga Hosers:

It's crazy to believe, but that's Kevin Smith without his trademark beard, and if we didn't see this image come from the director's Twitter account, it probably would have taken us a moment to figure out that it was him. I don't think I've ever seen Smith without his trademark beard with the exception of a couple old photos from around 20+ years ago that have surfaced online. As you can see, Smith says he shaved for green screen work on set, likely because facial hair can make it difficult to make the background visual effects work perfectly. We're not sure how big of a role he has, but it was enough to shave that beard. Crazy?
