After popping up on last weekend's season finale of "Saturday Night Live" with host Andy Samberg, late night sketch series veteran Kristen Wiig (The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues) has landed a new project. THR reports the comedienne will co-star with Zach Galifianakis and Owen Wilson in the heist comedy formerly known as Loomis Fargo set up at Relativity Media. The film follows the true story of four dim-witted Southerners who pulled off one of the biggest heists in American history, robbing $17 million from an armored truck, but there's plenty double-crossing to follow afterwards.

Wiig will have a role integral in making the heist of the local bank vault work as she seductively convinces an unhappy armored car driver (Galifianakis) to join their scheme, but she has no plans to have a lasting relationship with him when it's all done. The film currently doesn't have a title, but is already set for release on August 14th, 2015 with Napoleon Dynamite director Jared Hess at the helm. Production is slated to begin in July in North Carolina, and with an original script by Emily Spivey, rewritten by Chris Bowman and Hubbel Palmer (both writers of the "Napoleon Dynamite" animated series"), we're hopeful that this could be a nice original comedy. But Hess has struggled since Napoleon Dynamite, so we'll see what happens.
