Taken 3

"I'm going to finish this." At the end of Taken 2, it seemed like Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) was on the path of getting back together with his ex-wife (Famke Janssen) and giving his daughter (Maggie Grace) the love he always wanted her to have. But in the first trailer for Taken 3 (or Tak3n if you want to be clever), we see that all that is cut short when Mills is framed for the murder of his ex-wife and is forced to go on the run from the law. Sadly, this time his special set of skills have him looking much more suspicious than heroic as he tries to prove his innocence and find out who is responsible for this tragedy. Watch the trailer!

Here's the first trailer for Olivier Megaton's Taken 3 straight from 20th Century Fox:

Taken 3

Taken 3 is directed by Olivier Megaton (Taken 2) and written by Luc Besson (The Fifth Element, The Professional) and Robert Mark Kamen (The Transporter franchise). Ex-covert operative Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) has his reconciliation with his ex-wife (Famke Janssen) is tragically cut short when she is brutally murdered. Consumed with rage, and framed for the crime, he goes on the run to evade the relentless pursuit of the CIA, FBI and the police. For one last time, Mills must use his “particular set of skills,” to track down the real killers, exact his unique brand of justice, and protect the only thing that matters to him now – his daughter (Maggie Grace). 20th Century Fox releases the film early next year on January 9th, 2015. Well?

can someone explain to me why i should ever pay the money to see both this AND a walk among the tombstones? Ive never really been a fan of paying to see the same mediocre liam action flick twice.

I will say this, I saw "A Walk Among the Tombstones" and surprisingly liked it. I thought it was better than all the other typical Liam Neeson kick ass movies he's made since Taken 1. It has more of a different feel...it has a slower, eery, suspense driven story and though there are some solid fight scenes, there's no over dramatic climatic fights/ending. And the story feels more real...not like the Taken franchise.

This movie was green-lit just so they could use the title "TAK3N".

I don't know what crack you people are on but this film looks AMAZING! Holy crap the trailer blew my mind it looks like a true action fest, what the first film should have been and not some boring revenge flick. Ever since Taken 2 it has definitely picked up more momentum, I don't even understand the Taken 2 hate at all because Taken 1 was such a snooze fest but Taken 3 my gosh this is other level! This is as if they made it into a Die Hard and The Fugitive and The Raid crossover in one movie to create a masterpiece. I even love the jab at the end of the trailer "Good Luck!". I seriously need to see this movie now okay and if this film does not get nominated for any award I will be upset because it deserves everything! This is officially the best franchise ever apart from the first film!

I think it looks good. I enjoyed the 2nd one but not as much as the first. This one looks like it'll make up for Taken 2
