After making a name for herself with starring roles in series like "Freaks & Geeks" and the live-action Scooby-Doo movies, Linda Cardellini has become much more famous for her unique voices as she lends it to characters on animated series like "The Regular Show." Of course, she's also had some great recurring roles on shows like "Mad Men" and "New Girl" recently, and let's not forget about her time on "ER." But lately she's been spending a little more time on the big screen with roles in Welcome to Me with Kristen Wiig, and THR reports she's just lined up another in Daddy's Home with Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg.
For those who haven't been paying attention, Daddy's Home is a comedy that follows Ferrell as a mild-mannered radio executive who strives to become the best step-father ever to his wife’s two children. However, things get a little complicated when their deadbeat, freeloading father (Wahlberg) returns, and each of the grown men have to complete for the affection of the kids. Cardellini will play the wife in the film that will be directed by Sean Anders (That's My Boy, Horrible Bosses 2) with writing partner John Morris producing the film along with Gary Sanchez Productions. Sounds like a solid comedy.

It's just "Regular Show", not "The Regular Show". If you need another example of her animated voicework, try "Gravity Falls".
