Love Interest Skylar Astin is Also Coming Back for 'Pitch Perfect 2'

Briefly: So far we have a whole slew of actresses confirmed for Pitch Perfect 2. Main cast members like Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow and Rebel Wilson are all back with most of the Barden Bellas from the original film. And new ladies include Hailee Steinfeld as the latest a capella addition, along with Katey Sagal playing her mother. Adam DeVine was the only make cast member slated to return from the original film, but now Deadline has word that love interest Skylar Astin will be back (where's Benji?). It'll be the biggest thing he's done since following the original Pitch Perfect with the surprisingly decent 21 & Over. He'll likely still be part of the Treblemakers a capella group, but is he still with Beca? Is there some rivalry? Stay tuned.
UPDATE: Ben Platt (who played Astin's roommate Benji) has confirmed through is own Twitter account that he's also back for Pitch Perfect 2, and is already on set. Awesome!

I hope they bring the awkward guy back too. He was good at the end of the movie.

I bet he and Becca will be broken up...but perhaps Banks will surprise us.

The guy who plays Benji instagrammed a picture of him and Skylar together on set so he is also in the movie.
