In Heroes We Trust! Marvel has launched their new Super Bowl TV spot as well as a brand new theatrical trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The superhero seqeul hits theaters in only two more months, so this is their big final push for it and they're going all out, giving us a tease at just how awesome this new Marvel Studios movie looks. Chris Evans returns as Steve Rogers, encountering his foe Bucky as the Winter Soldier, played by Sebastian Stan, teaming up with Anthony Mackie as The Falcon. The cast also includes Robert Redford, Hayley Atwell, Emily VanCamp and Scarlett Johansson. Honestly, this looks way better than I was expecting, and I can't wait to see how it all plays out. Fire up these two vids.

Looks great. They gave out a bit of spoilers, but still looks great none the less.

Sort of missed Jon Voight in this, but I totally agree with You Ali. A bit spoilerish, but at the same time it looked great. Since they indeed revealed some spoilers I expect there to be more surprises in the movie that they haven't showed in the trailers. Looks totally solid!

As long as there is no fake villain it's ok.

well there's suppose to be three villains in the sequel (Winter Soldier, Arnim Zola, and Batroc the Leaper). Odds are against all three being "fake".

I don't think we'll get "fake" villains, but I do anticipate a twist, both Marvel phase 2 movies so far have had a twist.

IMO, didn't think Thor's sequel was shit. Hell, thought it was better than the first

Ok so........did anybody see the trailer hit during the Super Bowl??!!! I'm not a big football fan but do thoroughly watching the SB for the trailers. I waited around the entire pre game, the game, and even some of the post game and NEVER saw the trailer. Did it officially not appear??

Wow! It looks as if Cap brings back suspense back to the super-hero genre. Personally, characters like Thor and Superman don't do nothing for me. They are indestructable. Nothing can hurt them. All that they can do is destroy a city or a planet so that we can enjoy a CGI fest. But Cap, he's something else. He's human, a strong man, a fast man, but still a man. He can be hurt. He can be beaten. That's what makes him much more interesting. I believe Cap can do for Marvel what Batman (Nolan) did for DC.

Amen! On top of that he doesn't emo he just gets the job done and move on.

I totally agree with all of you. Cap is a great character that allows the "superhuman" characters a greater level of contrast due to the fact he's a mere mortal with shield. Chris Evans is a great Captain America and Marvel has been handling Cap great (I loved the first movie for 'old timey world war II' flavor it had). Take into consideration how wrong Captain America could have went overall. He wears red, white, and blue, not the easiest costume combo to pull off on-screen. His patriotism could have been overplayed turning off international audiences. The origin story could have been far different, spending way too much time on Cap getting his powers. If they hadn't had Chris Evan play Steve Rogers in the original scawny incarnation as having a lot of heart, the character would have fallen apart.

"he doesn't emo" That made my day xD! Yeah DC movies are kind of depressing, Marvel movies take place in a realistic world and are actually fun to watch casually or seriously.

"I believe Cap can do for Marvel what Batman (Nolan) did for DC." My thoughts exactly! Its the simplistic heroes that have much more reason to shine and have much more to lose at the same time, which is why they stand out more in my opinion. Cap intrigues me more than any other Marvel character. Cant wait for it to hit theaters.

I can't believe how much positive feedback these trailers are getting. I'm done with Marvel movies. I gave Iron Man a second chance with the third installment and it was crap... same with Thor 2. Captain America was the worst film of all in the first wave of Marvel films.... Definitely not looking forward to this. Remember when Marvel made a studio so they can have more control? What was the purpose of that? The quality hasn't gotten any better and nothing that they've put out has been faithful to the source material.
