Merry Christmas 2014

Joyeux Noel! Gledelig Jul! Froehliche Weihnachten! Mele Kalikimaka! From all of us at, we want to wish every one our readers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holidays! Whether you're with your family or with friends or whether it's snowing or sunny, we hope you have a wonderful week. For those that follow the tradition of seeing a movie on Christmas Day, we hope you enjoy your selection this year with a variety of interesting movies to choose from (we suggest Selma, Top Five, PTA's Inherent Vice above all). News and trailers always slow down during the holidays, but we'll be back at full speed for 2015.

In theaters now we have the final Hobbit movie, The Battle of the Five Armies, as well as an Annie remake and the big Disney musical Into the Woods, but as always we're just as excited (if not more) for next year's holiday line-up. In theaters on Christmas Day in 2015: Mission Impossible 5 with Tom Cruise directed by Christopher McQuarrie and The Revenant from Alejandro Iñárritu starring Leonardo DiCaprio & Tom Hardy. There will also be Michael Dougherty's Krampus comedy. But above all, Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be in theaters the week before, which means we'll all probably be on our fourth viewings by Christmas Day. Ha. We hope everyone has a fun, relaxing holiday break in the meantime. Merry Christmas!

ALEX!! I don't know if you see these 'discus' comments, but I REALLY want to know if you are going to do another big sci/fi list like you did a couple of years ago. It was basically my goto list for every good movie that was coming out. Also wanted to know if you had a similar list for horror movies, or knew of a colleague that did? Thanks man. I'm sure you know which list I am referring too, but just in case, here is the link:
