Morgan Freeman Ready for Law & Order in Seth MacFarlane's 'Ted 2'
Though production on Ted 2 is currently underway in Boston, we haven't heard much about the comedy sequel from writer, director and star Seth MacFarlane. We know that Mark Wahlberg is back along with most of the suppoting cast (though Patrick Warburton is the only one who's been confirmed). And Amanda Seyfried has the female lead. Now one more cast member has been revealed with Variety reporting that Morgan Freeman has taken the role of n iconic civil rights lawyer who comes into the picture when Ted needs to resolve some legal issues. And considering how obnoxious Ted is, who knows what trouble he's in.
While details have been scarce on the overall plot and casting of the Universal sequel set for release on June 26th, 2015, that's because most of the supporting roles that aren't from the original film will be filled with "a mix of cameos of pop culture icons and A-list actors playing parts outside of their comfort zones." We saw some of that in MacFarlane's A Million Ways to Die in the West, and since Ted was such a success, you can probably count on even more stars to pop up in the sequel. Freeman's forays into comedy have been hit or miss, but that's never his fault. We can't wait to see what MacFarlane has in store for him.

Kinda bugged about Seyfried... I don't like when directors keep putting the same actors into separate projects.
