Must Watch: Awesome Old School 90's Trailer for 'Birdman Returns'
"Where were you when you first saw Birdman Returns?" Hitting theaters everywhere next May is the highly anticipated sequel to Birdman, starring Riggan Thomson as the badass bird superhero. Yes, we've seen plenty of comic book movies already but another one can't hurt, especially when it's another one as dark, brooding, and spectacular as Birdman. I love that first one and I've been anxiously awaiting this sequel. It's only a quick tease with some glimpses that give us a feeling of the atmosphere and serious, dark tone of this follow-up, but I'm still excited to see it. Nothing like seeing Riggan put on that Birdman mask again. Enjoy!
Note: Yes this all a joke, but the trailer is a real creation made to promote Alejandro G. Iñárritu's Birdman movie, now that it's playing in theaters. For more info and for updates on theater listings, visit the website.
Here's the original, offiical trailer for Birdman Returns, direct from Fox Searchlight's YouTube:
Description on YouTube: "#TBT: in 1992, Riggan Thomson makes box office history in Birdman Returns. It will be another 4 years before Riggan famously pulls out of Birdman 4 and disappears off the face of the planet until reviving his career on Broadway!" Isn't there a rumor he might come back for Birdman 4 soon?

Haha, this is so good. Not only as a reference to Keaton as Batman, but as a parody of an early 90s Hollywood blockbuster teaser trailer in general.
