Director Jordan Vogt-Roberts made a splash with the indie hit Kings of Summer, and at Sundance this year, his stand-up concert documentary Nick Offerman: American Ham was a real crowdpleaser. More recently, Vogt-Roberts had some fun with Arnold Schwarzengger in order to promote a contest with all the proceeds going to the charity After-School All-Stars. What's the prize? You get to fly to LA and spend the day with Arnold, including riding in his personal tank and crushing things. And that's exactly what is shown in this hilarious spot for the charity, complete with tons of awesome movie references. Watch below!

Here's the director's cut of the After-School All-Stars promo with Arnold Schwarzenegger:

Vogt-Roberts took the time to tell us about this unbelievable little project:

"This was an insane job because we basically had less than 72 hours to prep and almost no budget. Luckily, it's not often that someone says "Hey, do you want to go into the desert and watch Arnold Schwarzenegger crush things in his personal tank for a charity?". We called in some pretty crazy favors and most people donated the gear and time because of the combo of Arnold, tanks and charity.

I called Chris Galletta who wrote ['Kings of Summer'] because nothing was funnier to me than the idea of his words coming out of Arnold's mouth. We both grew up with Schwarzenegger movies so it was pretty surreal to get to write jokes involving the infamous war call from 'Predator.'  We were only supposed to have an hour with Arnold but he dug the script and genuinely finds crushing stuff in his tank to be cathartic so luckily he stuck around for a bit and made jokes about the Microsoft Zune. It's important for me for people see my director's cut because it best represents what Chris and my team set out to make. Hope you enjoy."
