Natalie Portman's 'Jane Got a Gun' Has Been Pushed Back Yet Again
The trouble for Relativity and The The Weinstein Company's indie western Jane Got a Gun doesn't seem to end. Director Lynne Ramsay left the film just before production started and actors like Michael Fassbender and Jude Law went with her. Now the film is directed by Warrior helmer Gavin O'Connor and stars Joel Edgerton, Natalie Portman (who is also producing), Ewan McGregor and more, but the film's release has been pushed back again. Initially set for release this past August, the film was delayed to February 20th, 2015, but Variety reports it's been pushed back six more months to September 4th, 2015.
After her outlaw husband returns home shot with eight bullets and barely alive, Jane (Portman) reluctantly reaches out to an ex-lover (Edgerton) to help her defend her farm when the time comes that her husband’s gang eventually tracks him down to finish the job. Noah Emmerich plays Portman's husband while McGregor plays the gang leader. For all the trouble this project has run into, we certainly hope it ends up being worth it when the project finally hits theaters. Here's hoping it doesn't end up getting delayed again.
Oh no. This is bad. Portman has been gone from the mainstream for years. I want to see make one hell of a comeback.

It would be the perfect time for a sequel to The Professional.
