New 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' TV Spot: Don't Piss Off Ceasar

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

"If you threaten his family, he will retaliate." Whoa. It's almost time, just a few more weeks. Fox has been ramping up advertising for Matt Reeves' sci-fi sequel Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, hitting theaters on July 11th, with a bunch of new TV spots and some posters as well. This latest TV spot features a glimpse of the "bear hunt" scene, as well as more moments of Caesar talking (which sounds chilling every time), and some extra shots of action to tie the story beats together. Now we get a sense of where this is going, with the humans (lead by Gary Oldman & Jason Clarke) interrupting Caesar's "family" and starting the next war.

Here's the new NBA Finals TV spot for Matt Reeves' Dawn of the Planet of the Apes from YouTube:

A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth's dominant species. Besides Serkis, the apes cast includes Judy Greer as Cornelia & Toby Kebbell as Koba. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is the sequel to Rupert Wyatt's revival of the sci-fi franchise Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Directing is Matt Reeves, of Let Me In and Cloverfield previously, from a script written by Mark Bomback, Scott Z. Burns, Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver. 20th Century Fox has Dawn of the Planet of the Apes scheduled for a 3D release on July 11th this summer.

Which surprise attack on a grizzly is gonna be more epic: caeser in DOTPOTA or the croc in Lake Placid (cause that scene was pretty f***ing sick!)

Whatever you do, don't proofread your article title for correctness.
