New International Trailer for 'Seventh Son' Fantasy with Jeff Bridges
"We fight the darkness, wherever it hides." If the abysmal R.I.P.D. didn't give you enough of Jeff Bridges fighting computer generated monsters, then 2015 has a real treat for you with the long-delayed release of Seventh Son. Honestly, the film basically feels like a fantasy retread of the aforementioned undead action flick, but this time Bridges is showing the ropes to the next in a long line of mythical warriors meant to fight an ancient evil that threatens the world. Ben Barnes takes the lead as the title hero while Julianne Moore has some fun as a makeshift Maleficent. And all of this was apparently shot with an Instagram filter.
Here's the new international trailer for Sergein Bodrov's Seventh Son from YouTube:
When Thomas (Ben Barnes), seventh son of a seventh son, is apprenticed to the local Spook (Jeff Bridges), whose job is to fight evil spirits and witches, he expects a life of danger. However, the boy doesn't realize just how soon he'll face a powerful enemy alone, as Mother Malkin (Julianne Moore) escapes her confinement while the Spook is away. Thomas is forced to use his wits, and the help of his enigmatic new friend, Alice (Alica Vikander), to fight the evil witch. And defeating her is only the start of the boy's problems. The Seventh Son is directed by Sergein Bodrov and arrives in theaters on February 6, 2015.

Oh dear, even the voice of Bridges sounds ridiculous. His wonderful voice is one of his trademark features, don't ruin that mr. Bridges...

You're all being too hard on them. At least they did something that hasn't been done in years; the last time that camera lenses were smeared with Vaseline in every shot was way back in 2000, for Jim Carrey's Grinch movie.

I love Jeff Bridges, but he is long overdue for a good movie. I would rather watch "Stick It" again rather than this.
