No One Likes Johnny Depp's Mustache in UK Trailer for 'Mortdecai'

"What is that infernal thing on your lip?" If you think Johnny Depp looks terrible in the new rogue comedy Mortdecai, you're not the only one. Gwyneth Paltrow and Ewan McGregor both hate the actor's mustache in the new trailer from the United Kingdom. Of course, by the looks of this trailer (and the previous US theatrical trailer), it's not just the mustache that's a turn-off. This doesn't look funny at all. This feels like something that was actually imported from across the pond and just doesn't work over here. It's dry, but not in an appealing way. It would be nice if Johnny Depp did something worthwhile again. Watch!

Mortdecai is directed by David Koepp (Premium Rush, The Secret Window) and written by Eric Aronson, based on the anthology by Kyril Bonfiglioli. Juggling angry Russians, the British Mi5, his impossibly leggy wife and an international terrorist, debonair art dealer and part time rogue Charlie Mortdecai (Johnny Depp) must traverse the globe armed only with good looks and special charm in a race to recover a stolen painting rumored to contain the code to a lost bank account filled with Nazi gold. Gwyneth Paltrow, Ewan McGregor, Paul Bettany & Olivia Munn also star in the film which Lionsgate releases January 23rd, 2015.

I sure would like to see the "Gilbert Grape Depp or the Chocolat Depp. These costume shows are getting tiresome. I could say more, but it's Christmas. (Although if that was a real stunt with the large crate at the end of the trailer, and not cgi, bravo to somebody)
