Between Two Ferns - Barack Obama

Let's just start this off by saying that no matter what side of the aisle your political beliefs fall on, we can all appreciate the fact that every president in our past has taken the time to have a little fun every now and then, so there's no reason to turn this into a political pissing contest. With that out of the way, please enjoy this awesome and pretty unbelievable appearance by President Barack Obama on the Funny or Die web series "Between Two Ferns" with Zach Galifianakis. And just like previous appearances from stars like Jennifer Lawrence and Will Ferrell, the president takes some great jabs at Galifianakis in the show. Watch!

Here's President Barack Obama on "Between Two Ferns" with Zach Galifianakis from Funny or Die:

It's pretty hilarious that Obama was willing to poke fun at himself, especially with his guest description being "Community Organizer." And Obama's dig at The Hangover III is perfect. Again, this kind of guest on something so silly is so unbelievable, I'm surprised Galifianakis even had the balls to do this with someone like the President of the United States. Executive producer Mike Farah even told The New York Times, "I have to give the president credit that they were willing to trust us. They were definitely easier than working with most Hollywood publicists.” Even with the plug for Obamacare towards the end, this is good stuff.

This was funny, and I thoroughly dislike Barry Obama. Pretty sure he has better shit to do that PR stunts but hey at least this wasn't cringe worthy. Also his lies about ACA never cease to amaze me.

According to Tara McGuinness, who is part of the White House communications crew, FunnyOrDie, the site where the clip is hosted, is the “#1 source of referrals tohttp://HealthCare.gov right now.” They wanted hits, and they got them.

I don't dislike the man himself, I think he's probably a genuinely good guy who wants to help everybody, but as a politician I dislike him. I almost prefer when he's doing stuff like this that is somewhat harmless, other than gradually enforcing the precedent that the commander in chief should be a personable part-time celebrity. But that is just about inevitable thanks to crap like Gawker.

Do your research beyond repeating what Fox News says and then tell me he's lying.

I bet this will benefit his image more than any actual thing he may have accomplished 🙂
