The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel

While the title seems a little ill-advised, as it implies the follow-up won't be as good as the first film, the teaser trailer for The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel has arrived. The trailer only hints at the story coming in the sequel which follows Sonny (Dev Patel) attempting to lock down a promising property now that his first venture, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel for the Elderly and Beautiful has turned out to be a success. Richard Gere arrives as a new tenant alongside Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Bill Nighy and other returning cast members, and this looks to have the same tame charm the first film delivered. Watch!

Here's the teaser trailer for The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, originally from Apple:

Sonny (Dev Patel) has his eye on a promising new property now that The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel for the Elderly and Beautiful, has only a single remaining vacancy – posing a predicament for fresh arrivals Guy (Richard Gere) and Lavinia (Tamsin Greig). Evelyn and Douglas (Judi Dench and Bill Nighy) have now joined the workforce while Norman and Carol (Ronald Pickup and Diana Hardcastle) are negotiating the tricky waters of an exclusive relationship, as Madge (Celia Imrie) juggles two eligible, wealthy suitors. Perhaps the only one who may know the answers is newly installed co-manager of the hotel, Muriel (Maggie Smith), the keeper of everyone's secrets. Fox Searchlight releases The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, directed by John Madden and written by Ol Parker (both of the first film), on March 6th, 2015. Good?

A truly terrible title that is. But I get these are like OCEANS ELEVEN for old people.
