Second Trailer for Matthew Vaughn's 'Kingsman: The Secret Service'
"Manners maketh man." 20th Century Fox has debuted another excellent new trailer for Matthew Vaughn's Kingsman: The Secret Service, his latest comic book action movie adaptation about an unsuspecting street kid known as "Eggsy", played by Taron Egerton, who is recruited to a top secret spy agency. His mentor is Colin Firth, who kicks a lot of ass, as we saw in the very first trailer (and in this one, too). But we finally get a better glimpse at the real villain, Samuel L. Jackson, who does indeed talk with a lisp and looks like a hilariously awesome addition to this action extravaganza. The trailer also features a new song from Iggy Azalea featuring Ellie Goulding, plus the girl with the blades for legs. Oh yes, she looks killer. Enjoy!
Here's the second trailer for Matthew Vaughn's Kingsman: The Secret Service, direct from YouTube:
Kingsman: The Secret Service is directed by Matthew Vaughn (Kick-Ass, X-Men: First Class), who also co-wrote the script with Jane Goldman, based on the comics by Mark Millar & Dave Gibbons (Watchmen). The story follows the story of an agent (Colin Firth) in a super-secret spy organization that recruits an unrefined but promising street kid (newcomer Taron Egerton) into the agency's ultra-competitive training program just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius. Michael Caine and Samuel L. Jackson also star in the film. 20th Century Fox will open Kingsman: The Secret Service on February 13th, 2015. The film was originally set to open in October of this year, but was pushed back until February. Excited?

I will admit, it does look interesting. But the song in the trailer was absolute trash and I hope they do not use it in the film.

Getting a campy vibe from this...and not in a good way. I didn't really care for First Class, even though so many seemed to love it. So I doubt this will be quite up my alley.

I dont think First Class is the right fllm to compare it to. Its more like Layer cake with a budget and more action.
Jon Odishaw on Sep 23, 2014
Wasn't really comparing it to First Class, just noting that was another Vaughn film, and I didn't care for it. On top of that, this in and of itself looks cheesy as opposed to campy.

Hmm... Is it just me or does this look like a pretty good time?

The blade legs sequences are probably going to be the highlights. I'll probably check it out for those alone. The action looks pretty wild. Very cartoonish, in a good way. Looks exciting. That spot when the guy does the parkour double step on the walls near the end is such an awesome shot.

That CGI face gives me giggles. Overall this movie looks decent. Except for the need for ab shots etc

I'm down. The CGI face was a little off-putting, but in a goofy, fun action movie like this, it definitely isn't THAT bothersome. I'm pretty excited for this.

Is it just me, or does the thumbnail for this article look totally CGI (dude's face)?
