New Photo of Chris Pratt with Raptor Pal in Trevorrow's 'Jurassic World'

Plenty of people were either freaked out, confused or just furious when they saw Chris Pratt riding his motorcycle with a pack of velociraptors at his side in the first trailer for Jurassic World. The shot basically confirmed that these particular dinosaurs have been tamed. While some think that goes against the principles of evolution and their position as unpredictable animals from the past, I'm betting they're not just flat out "good guy" dinosaurs in the end. Either way, as a treat before the holidays, director Colin Trevorrow has revealed a photo of Pratt on the set of Jurassic World with one of his raptor pals. Check it!

You can still watch the first trailer for Colin Trevorrow's Jurassic World right here. Stay tuned.
Jurassic World is directed by Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed), who rewrote the script with Derek Connolly from an earlier draft by Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver (Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes). No plot details are available yet, but the film has been said to feature a new operational dinosaur theme park, just as John Hammond imagined over 20 years ago. The cast includes Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson, Jake Johnson, Ty Simpkins, Vincent D'Onofrio, Irrfan Khan and B.D. Wong, reprising his original role from Jurassic Park. Universal Pictures releases the film June 12th, 2015.

I'm glad the raptor looks exactly like a raptor from the first movie 🙂

WOW. This is the most ambitious (-ly dumb) idea I've seen in a long time.

Im gunna just assume that they have genetically enhanced the raptors brains a bit so they are more domesticated or whatever... since we haven't seen the friggin thing yet

They're not totally tamed...Colin was quoted somewhere they aren't completely tamed like a domestic dog. They just have a connection to a specific trainer, such as animals in a zoo do with the individual(s) zookeeper(s) that work with them. It may end up being, Pratt's character is the only person who can work alongside them.

The shot at the end of the trailer did not "confirm" anything.

Yes I'm a African American in my late 20's obsessed with Sponge Bob .... But i love cinema

The velociraptors have not been tamed but most likely been trained by some electronic device implanted inside their brains. Just as wild dogs have been trained to hunt and kill other animals.
