Kill Me Three Times

"How the fuck did it come to this?" After drunkenly fighting an invading alien race in The World's End and saving Starfleet and San Francisco in Star Trek Into Darkness, this time Simon Pegg is getting a little more grounded in the comedic thriller Kill Me Three Times. In the film from TIFF this year, Pegg plays a mercurial assassin who iscovers he isn't the only person trying to kill the siren (Alice Braga) of a sun-drenched surfing town. Teresa Palmer, Callan Mulvey and Sullivan Stapleton all have supporting roles along with the Luke Hemsworth (yes, there's yet another one of those). Watch below!

Here's the first trailer for Kriv Stenders' Kill Me Three Times from Magnet (via The Solid State):

Kill Me Three Times is directed by Kriv Stenders (Australia's hit Red Dog) and written by newcomer James McFarlan. The story follows Simon Pegg as a professional assassin, hired to kill the singer wife (Alice Braga) of a wealthy man (Callan Mulvey). Other characters include a gambling addict (Sullivan Stapleton) trying to pay off his debts through a life insurance scam thought up by small town girl Lady Macbeth (Teresa Palmer), a corrupt cop (Bryan Brown) and a surfer (Luke Hemsworth) trying to save Braga from her would-be killer. The film hits on iTunes/VOD March 26th, 2015 and limited theaters April 10th, 2015.

I don't think I've seen a film with Pegg in it that he has not done well. This looks good, can't wait to see it.
