While we're all anxiously anticipating when and where the trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens will debut (SlashFilm says it's coming this week on the big screen first), there's another huge 2015 blockbuster that's definitely getting teased on Turkey Day. The first trailer for Jurassic World arrives on Thanksgiving Day at 9pm ET during NBC Thursday Night Football, and you can bet we'll be posting it as soon as it's online. In the meantime, Universal Pictures has finally released a short teaser for the trailer, and while we normally don't like these kind of videos, we actually get to see dinosaurs in action for the first time! Watch!
Here's the teaser for this Thursday's trailer premiere for Jurassic World direct from Universal:
Check out the first teaser poster for Jurassic World right here, and come back for the trailer Thursday!
Jurassic World is directed by Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed), who rewrote the script with Derek Connolly from an earlier draft by Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver (Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes). No plot details are available yet, but the film has been said to feature a new operational dinosaur theme park, just as John Hammond imagined over 20 years ago. The cast includes Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson, Jake Johnson, Ty Simpkins, Vincent D'Onofrio, Irrfan Khan and B.D. Wong, reprising his original role from Jurassic Park. Universal Pictures releases the film June 12th, 2015.

If it doesn't contain any of the stuff that this 8-year-old wants to see, I'm not interested: https://vimeo.com/112121709

It's amazing how little the dinosaurs differ from the first movie, though (and they look great!).

21 years...but still. They were diligent the first go around. I am optimistic, but without expectation. If that is even possible...or Im just fooling myself.

The original T-Rex scene is still flawless today. I have no idea hows thats even possible. Whats funnier, the CG in this slide show looks not very good.

Wow! It looks like Trevorrow kept the aesthetic of the Spielberg films, shiny CGI skin and all! I like it. Cannot wait.

lol - nice. I can actually hear SLJ saying, "now... ya'll run, hide, gather weapons... whatever... before me and my dinosaur ARMY... track you down... and KILL you."

Who cares what this little kid says, in reality this movie isn't for 8 year olds. It's for people who grew up with the other 3 movies, but can cater to little kids and bring them into the franchise. Just like Toy Story 3. It also sounds like he's reading something, so I doubt he really thinks this

So far the cgi looks good...but there's enough time to make it look great. Fingers crossed, Colin used practical effects for this movie...hopefully with Stan Winston's studio ;). Least I can check off the list...no dinos with feathers and no colorful dinos!

I'm 100% in. Colin Trevorrow sounded brilliant when he talked about the movie, I'm expecting a lot.
