The Dancing Franchise Continues in Teaser Trailer for 'Step Up: All In'

Step Up: All In

"Does this always have to end up in a big, giant dance battle?" Obviously this isn't going to be for everybody, but the Step Up franchise is now on its fifth film, so the producers must be doing something right to keep a certain audience interested for this many movies. Step Up: All In is hitting theaters this summer and the first trailer has arrived. While Channing Tatum starred in the first film, there's no big names in this sequel at all, which doesn't really matter, because it's the top notch dancing that really takes the spotlight. This time a bunch of faces from the previous films arrive in Las Vegas to dance battle. Watch?

Here's the teaser trailer for Trish Sie's Step Up: All In from YouTube:

Step Up: All In is directed by Trish Sie (who directed the infamous treadmill music video from the band OK Go) and written by John Swetnam. In the next latest entry in the Step Up franchise, all-stars from previous installments come together in glittering Las Vegas, battling for a victory that could define their dreams and their careers. Ryan Guzman, Briana Evigan, Adam Sevani, Misha Gabriel, Alyson Stoner, Stephen 'tWitch' Boss, Mari Koda, Chris Scott, Luis Rosado, Chadd Smith and Martin and Facundo Lombard all star in the film produced by Hairspray director Adam Shankman, and Summit Entertainment releases it on July 25th.

I really do not understand the Dancing and singing show/movie craze. Can anyone shed some light on its appeal?

Much like how musicals have been around within film for a long time it's a genre that has slowly morphed within Hollywood to a point that it just seems so unique. It's incredible to just watch all the talent on the screen, some people may say all the flashy dance moves are just pure eye candy but I see something different within them. It's a genre that has it's own genuine integrity and stamp.

These are the kinds of films I love to watch. The Step Up movies has been amazing from the start and just keeps on getting better in terms of choreography and talent. It doesn't need star studded cast but a simple story and some awesome dancing. Not glittered like those silly Hollywood blockbusters rip offs or remake crap, this is originality and people fail to recognize this. I know this may sound cheesy but, am all in for Step Up: All In. Am buying my tickets early for sure.

If these are the movies you love to watch, it makes sense now on why you shit on almost everything else.

I saw the one with BoA and Derek Hough. Not bad. But BoA is never wrong.

So the chick from the second one gets with the dude from the fourth one? What happened to their amazing former loves that could only be brought together by dance? Destroyed my hope for my future love brought about by an epic dance battle in the rain or sand or maybe a volcano this time? Idk I'm so lost ...
