This upcoming weekend, The Raid 2 finally expands nationwide, and you can see which theaters will have the action-packed sequel right here. In the meantime, before you see the continuation of the fantastic crime thriller from director Gareth Evans, why not get into the action on your own? If you're looking to waste time at work or just have nothing to do today, The Raid 2 has been turned into an awesome 8-bit, side-scrolling video game in the vein of Streets of Rage and other classic games. Play as Rama undercover, or a few of the other martial arts skilled fighters and beat the crap out of some bad guys. It's super addicting. Play below!

The Raid 2: Berandal, the sequel to The Raid, is written and directed by Welsh born filmmaker Gareth Evans who also directed the first film. Starring Iko Uwais, Arifin Putra, Alex Abad, Oka Antara, Tio Pakusadewo, Julie Estelle, Cecep Arif Rahman, Cok Simbara, Yayan Ruhian, Matsuda Ryuhei, Endo Kenichi, and Kitamura Kazuki, the film features our lead character Rama (Uwais) going undercover and infiltrating the ranks of a ruthless Jakarta crime syndicate in order to protect his family and uncover the corruption in his own police force. The film premiered at Sundance, and Sony Pictures Classics released it March 28th.
It's no River City Ransom...that's for sure.
