Warner Bros. Swaps 'LEGO Movie' Sequel and Batman Spin-Off Dates

Briefly: Following the success of The LEGO Movie earlier this year, Warner Bros. Animation is going all-in on making a bunch of animated movies inspired by LEGO sets. There's a sequel to The LEGO Movie in the works, a spin-off focusing on their Ninjago line and we just heard that LEGO Batman will also get his own movie with Will Arnett voicing The Dark Knight again. But word from Warner Bros. today is shaking up things slightly. Previously, The LEGO Movie 2 was dated for May 26th, 2017, but that's when the LEGO Batman spin-off will arrive now. Instead, The LEGO Movie sequel has been pushed back to May 25th, 2018. But the good news is Ninjago is still arriving on September 23rd, 2016. Stay tuned for updates.

who cares about Ninjago - thats the Kid licensing - which i spoke to someone at Lego - and that line of toys - the Ninja Legos were made for boys 8-13 yrs old... maybe a tv show would be better .. not a full movie
