Watch: Alternate 'Gravity' Opening Would Have Changed Everything

Following the release of Gravity, we've seen plenty of cool glimpses behind the scenes, including this impressive visual effects breakdown, and also some cool alternate poster designs for the marketing campaign leading up to the film's theatrical release. The film has been out on Blu-Ray and DVD for over a month now, but there's still some cool stuff to be seen. For example, how about an alternate opening to the Alfonso Cuaron film starring Sandra Bullock that would have changed the film completely? It adds another character into the mix that would effectively change how the entirety of the story unfolds. Watch it!

Gravity is directed by visionary Mexican filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón (watch our interview here), of Great Expectations, Y Tu Mamá También, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and the sci-fi Children of Men previously. The screenplay was written by Alfonso and his son Jonás Cuarón and the film stars Sandra Bullock and George Clooney. Warner Bros. released Gravity in IMAX theaters and 3D everywhere on October 4th, and again last month, but the film arrived on Blu-Ray and DVD on February 25th. Cool?
