"There's something there with you, isn't there?" The second trailer for Hammer's newest horror film The Quiet Ones showed a mix of found footage and traditional narrative filmmaking, and now a new shorter trailer does the same, but this one is pretty intense, showing a lot of the craziness that happens in this supernatural college experiment gone wrong. Fans of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire should be happy to see Sam Claflin in this film, but it's Jared Harris and his ominous British voice that really adds some ambiance. This looks better than Hammer's The Woman in Black, so we're definitely interested. Watch it!
Here's the latest trailer for John Pogue's The Quiet Ones, originally from Apple:
The Quiet Ones is directed by John Pogue (Quarantine 2: Terminal) from a script he wrote with Craig Rosenberg (The Uninvited) and Oren Moverman (Rampart, The Messenger). Inspired by true events, and based on the theory that paranormal activity is caused by human negative energy, the story follows a professor who uses some of his students to perform a series of tests on a young patient, pushing her to the edge of sanity. As frightening occurrences begin to take place, the group quickly realizes they have triggered a force more terrifying and evil than they ever imagined. Lionsgate releases the film on April 25th, 2014.
