While we were hoping this video might have some cool behind-the-scenes footage from Gareth Edwards' Godzilla movie, alas it's Entertainment Tonight (Canada) which means nope, only cheesy conversation. Luckily there's a few hints on the actual movie. Bryan Cranston, Golden Globe winning star of "Breaking Bad", filmed a role in Godzilla last year, and ET Canada visited the set to chat with him, and with Sally Hawkins. He reveals that they're taking a more "restrained" approach to this, referencing Jaws and the way Spielberg "didn't always show the monster." Cranston also shows the host how to roar like the monster. It's a fun little video if you're in the mood for some Cranston goodness to cheer you up after the Oscar noms.
Here's the behind-the-scenes look at Gareth Edwards' Godzilla, direct from ET Canada (via SlashFilm):
Watch the first teaser trailer for Gareth Edwards' Godzilla in high def here if you didn't see it. Stay tuned.
Godzilla, being directed by Gareth Edwards (of Monsters), comes from a screenplay written by Drew Pearce, Max Borenstein and Frank Darabont. The cast is lead by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, with Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Olsen, David Strathairn, Ken Watanabe and Juliette Binoche. An epic rebirth to Toho's iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity's scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence. Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures send Godzilla stomping into theaters May 16th, 2014 next summer. Follow: MUTOresearch.net
