Watch Everyone Try to Lift Mjolnir in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' Tease

Normally, we don't like to post clips from upcoming movies, because we think that they should only be seen within the context of a movie, and they don't sell a film as something that needs to be seen in the same way that a trailer does. Having said that, since Hydra leaked the teaser trailer for The Avengers: Age of Ultron, that prompted Marvel Studios to release another tease of the sequel. And the only reason we're posting it is because it's the fun scene that was played at Comic-Con this past summer with Tony Stark, Steve Rogers and the rest of The Avengers crew trying to pick up Thor's hammer after a party. Watch below!
Here's the new Mjolnir teaser from Joss Whedon's The Avengers: Age of Ultron direct from Marvel:
This arrives after a very exciting Marvel Event announcing all of Phase 3's schedule, including Infinity War.
The Avengers: Age of Ultron is written & directed by Joss Whedon (The Avengers, Serenity). Earth's mightiest heroes must once again assemble when a super intelligent robot created by Tony Stark created to help fight any threats that might harm the world actually turns against him and the human race. Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson all return in the sequel to Marvel's The Avengers with new names like Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen joining the team. Disney & Marvel will release starting on May 1st, 2015. Looking good?

That was awesome. Really loved how it moved for Rogers...Thors reaction was great. Glad to see Cheadle hopefully he has a good sized role. Here's hoping Wheadon added a lot of down time for dialogue. Will we see Loki? Please say yes!

I could honestly care less about Loki, hes already been in like 5 movies in 5 different capacities. We all love him but he needs to take a seat on this one.

It's time to let Loki (and Hiddleston) have a rest. He has done an amazing job and we will see him again.

It's not a house party unless Cap is passing a bowl to Thor at 0:06!

Seriously! How bad ass is Ultron in that final shot? And Cap moving it, slightly, was really cool.

That was awesome! The fact that Cap moved it just a little might play a significant part down the road in the movie. Maybe he destroys Ultron with it?!

Loved that reference to sword in the stone.

I love Thor's reaction when Capt slightly moves Mjolnir, that was good. Plus 1:21, Loki's staff with the Infinity Stone, sure that will play a part in this movie.

Isn't there something about "He who has received the kiss of true love from Thor will have the power to wield Mjolnir" ?? Maybe Capt and Thor exchanged a little more than drinks and shwarma after Avengers 1.

Their friendship looks solid...enough that Thor looks like he's passing a bowl to Cap, haha

That's probably how the "kiss" connection was made, the transfer of saliva back and forth between that bowl haha.

Good catch. I have been asking the same question. Anyone have any ideas? Joss seemed to go out of his way to never show her face in this footage.

Thats what I thought, every person present gets face time except her. Captain Marvel?

It's been confirmed by Marvel Studios that she is Claudia Kim a.k.a. Kim Soo-hyun. She is supposed to be playing a scientist who works with Tony Stark in the film. Possibly in helping create Ultron. It would make sense if this scene is some kind of celebration because they can take some time off while Ultron takes care of things. It explains why she would be at the gathering of the whole team.

She's a SHIELD agent...remember her from part 1? at the beginning when Loki landed at the facility and turned Hawkeye, she was the one that chased them through the tunnel...

I had always faith in josh whedon since Buffy and angel! He is such a great storyteller.... This is awesome and will blow starwars totally away in counting money at the box office! JJ Abrahams isn't up to the hype!

I've been substitute teaching all the day, and at the end of each class, I've shown this trailer on the projection screen. The kids laugh in the beginning and cheer by the end of the trailer. This movie is going to be AWESOME!

Why couldn't I of had a substitute teacher like you. That's awesome man.

While I don't expect the movie universe to completely follow the comics (that has been proven already) Cap was always worthy, and was the only other person who was not only capable of moving the hammer but could actually carry it (although I think Beta Ray Bill was also worthy). I really wanted to see Cap simply pick it up and toss it to Thor like a potato chip!
